What's Yellow and Black & White All Over? - Home Staging Vancouver - Before & After Photos
My company, Exit Stage Right, Vancouver Home Staging, had the pleasure of staging another condo in this new-build apartment tower. 
This unit is pretty small, so making the space look spacious and yet have multi functions was paramount. The demographic for the building is very mixed. There are older buyers who are gravitating towards the more expensive units and penthouses, and then there are the younger crowd, just getting in the market, who are happy with a smaller, less expensive unit.
For this condo, I went with attracting a young, hip, happening crowd. Ironically, I used some mid-century modern pieces, such as the LC1 chairs by Courboisier, but hey, what's old is new again. These are classic pieces of furniture that look sleek and don't take up a lot of room. I brought in texture with the black and white cow-hide cushions, and added edgy artwork. I'm happy to report that this condo sold within a couple of days, while other vacant condos are still unsold. Staging makes a huge difference in speeding up the sale of a condo.

Love it Sally. My jealously of your marketplace rears it's ugly head again. Spent yesterday searching local MLS for a house that I would like to stage.... Results were very depressing.

Ginger - Oh, that must be so frustrating for you. Our market is so varied. Today I staged a Victorian home with lots of moulding, nooks and crannies. It means carrying a lot of inventory, from contemporary, to modern to traditional.
Donna - I agree, I always have to have a bit of black somewhere. It really helps to ground the space.
Sharon - Aren't those zebras adorable? There was a companion piece of panda bears which I almost bought, too.
Sally- I love black and white with the pops of yellow and have to know if the art in the living area is yours. It looks great in that area. And, I'm loving the pillows on the couch. The whole effect is very light and streamlined.
Sally.....This has YOUNG & HIP all over it! I can totally see myself daughter in this type of Condo as she is now the young & hip one in the fam! GREAT staging.....as usual!
Love the checked pillows on the sofa, love the DR chairs, love the linens in the bedroom, love the zebras....well, you get the idea.

Michelle - It's so strange to be moving the stage from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor. The new location is a slightly different layout, but the contents is still the same. Ha ha! I agree with you - nothing is easy about staging!
