Summerland:

There were 48 properties listed in January up 17% over last year.  Nine properties sold which is up from the 6 sold last January. The dollar value of property sold is up 63%!!  The average sale price is $555,833 up 9% from last January.  Folks, things are looking good for Summerland but I don't think we are out of the difficulties just yet.  It is taking 169 days to sell properties which is up 53% from last year.  Currently there are 171 active listing in Summerland BC.

Penticton:

There were 157 properties listed in January up 15% over last year.  53 properties sold which is up from the 21 sold last January. The dollar value of property sold is up 100%!!  The average sale price is $328,070 down 21% from last January.  It is taking 127 days to sell properties which is up 69% from last year.  Currently there are 661 active listing in Penticton BC.
