Tom Johnston is a mediator and lawyer who has been with the firm for 28 years. He is one of the most well known lawyers in the Okanagan because he has been involved in so many significant and complex cases. Her many achievements include: being selected to complete an internship at the Provincial Court in Vancouver to conduct legal research for a number of Judges; acting as a team member on the UBC Wilson Moot Team that won first place overall in a competition involving law schools from coast-to-coast; winning the Pozer Award for outstanding contribution by a first year student to the Law School Legal Advice Program; winning the David Roberts Prize in Legal Writing for excellence in legal writing; and receiving the Law Foundation Scholarship for academic excellence in law school. Leneigh also has solid work experience, having worked at the large Kelowna law firm Pushor Mitchell as a summer student as well as serving as a Managing Clinician for the Law School Legal Advice Program in Vancouver. Catherine Jarawka joined the team at Johnston, Johnson & Co. as an articling student in September, 2010. Catherine graduated from Dalhousie Law School with a L.L.B. in 2010, and from the University of Calgary with a B.A. in International Relations in 2007. Catherine’s academic achievements include attending the Indigenous Law Program at the University of Victoria in 2009, receiving the Alistair Fraser Scholarship at Dalhousie Law School for high academic standing, and receiving the International Studentship Scholarship at the University of Calgary. Catherine has worked, studied and traveled in 22 countries, including studying Asian politics and history at the National University of Singapore, and working in England and Australia.
